PAYMENT DUE DATE
The payment due dates are as follows:
- August 7, 2024: Tuition and fees are due for Continuing students.
- August 26, 2024: Tuition and fees are due for All students.
Please note: Course cancellations will occur on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Students must have payment arrangements by the due date, or their registration may be canceled. All financial aid documents must be submitted by July 15, 2024, to ensure the availability of your award package by the payment due date.
Students who do not pay by the deadline date and who meet the conditions below are at high risk of having their courses dropped:
- Have not submitted a FAFSA or completed the Financial Aid verification process
- Have not accepted your Financial Aid (including loans), if needed to resolve your balance
- Are not making satisfactory academic progress and do not have an approved appeal
- Are classified as international students without financial guarantee
- Have a remaining balance for Fall 2024
Submit your Financial Aid documents, accept your award package, if needed, complete your payment, or enroll in the payment plan.
It takes time to complete financial aid processes. Log into PAWS and check your GSU student email often for notifications from Student Financial Services for information. All federal funding available in previous terms to support students based on COVID-19 impacts has ended. These assistance programs are not available this term.
The University System of Georgia prohibits Georgia State University and all system schools from extending student credit. All students who have not joined the payment plan or paid their bill in full by the final payment deadline, are subject to having their course registration dropped. After the final deadline, students will not be eligible to re-enroll unless payment is finalized first.
Please note: The only way to get a 100% credit of your tuition and mandatory fee charges is to drop your courses by the last day of late registration at 5:00 pm, see the Academic Calendar for the add/drop deadline for the Fall term. If you remain registered past the add/drop deadline, you are no longer eligible for a 100% credit of tuition and mandatory fees. See the withdrawal refund schedule for details about pro-rated tuition credits and mandatory fees when you withdraw completely from the semester.
