The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is a federal law that was created to address the economic impact of the global pandemic.  The U.S. Secretary of Education, in response to the CARES Act, has determined that financial resources will be made available to colleges and universities to provide grants to students for expenses related to disruptions to their educations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
