Scholarships for Descendants of American Korean War Veterans

Sponsors: Korean American Scholarship Foundation  (KASF) & The Chu Family Foundation (TCFF)

Purpose: In appreciation of American Korean War Veterans’ sacrifices for the peace and security of  South Korea as well as to honor their service to their country.


  1. Descendants of American Korean War Veterans in The State of Georgia (or Georgia connections) who served in the Korean War during the periods of June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955.
  2. Currently enrolled in any US college/university in good academic standing or high school seniors who will be entering college/university.

Number of Scholarships & Amounts: Approximately 10-20 students annually at $2,000 per student. However, the number and scholarship amount may vary each year depending on the number of applicants as well as the financial status of the sponsor, The Chu Family Foundation.
